I would prefere to see the GLTT library
for TrueType-Font rendering being implemented ;-)
May be I will find some time sometimes to implement.

Really, these fonts looks much better ...

Anyway, I allready checked the GLUT header files
and I found some complications to make it portable 
to all platforms (windows / unix).

I would love to see your results.
