Well, the new GL4Java 4.0.0 version does support
many extensions, and GL 1.2 also !
You can query, if the function exists, while calling e.g.:
boolean t = GLContext.gljTextGLProc("glBegin", true /* verbose */);
thats it !
Then you can savely call glBegin() :o),
this works for all supportet OpenGL methods !
If you call the GL4Java wrapper method for an
unimplemented OpenGL function, nothing will happen - safe !
