Sven, when can we expect JDK 1.4 support in GL4Java (without direct 
buffers - so it just works with it)?

dear max,

well i have dropped 
	rel-2-8-0-0-prerelease-1
to CVS, which corrects the unix bug in conjunction with jdk 1.4

(win32 + jdk1.4 should just run using the older version)

the new version does contains GLF font support

please look at the file section for the appropiate font file !

please use the CVS sources (a 2.8.0.0 pre-release)

if nio is implemented, 2.8.0.0 will be final

But I don't have all necessary tools (argh, small disk! Will buy bigger 
next week) so I can't use it :-( Can I grab binaries off somewhere?
