#2 Linux - awt not running

I tried Lesson6 under linux and can't select something from the menu. In another applet there will be no recognition of keys or any other awt-elememts.

Is this a problem of my configuration, or known from anyone else?

I tried it with 2.7.1 and 2.8.0pre1
