#5 50% of available space wasted on dual core

I use a dual-core Thinkpad X300. When one process has a core going flat out at 99%, the bar in gkrelltop is only halfway across. The other half of that space is being wasted, is it not? In any case, I would like an option to set so that

full width of screen == full use of one core

instead of the current default where full width of screen == full use of *all* cores
