I've one problem with my RTL8139 card - whole system
hungs when I try to configure it when there is no
active connection on the other end (switch is off).
Module itself loads OK (and always says that 10Mb and
half-duplex was negotiated despite that in EEPROM I've
set to 100Mb and full-duplex) but when I
try to do "ifconfig" everything hungs.

When switch is on everything works OK.

I use kernel 2.4.9 with RTL8139 driver version 0.9.18
(from kernel) on x86 platform (Pentium-120).

In Widows there is no such problem so it's not a
problem of hardware itself.

My card - SureCom EP-320X-R-1 (Chip RTL8139C)

Output frim rtl8139-diac and lspci commands is atached
as a file.
