Due to my time restrictions I had to unfortunately abandon gjots2 after just half an hour of testing, because it wasn't stable on my Ubuntu Edgy box.

However, I'd like to mention some annoyances from my short experience with the software. I hope they help when developing the software further:

- no "recent files" functionality
- can't have many files open at the same time
- left/right keys don't work in the hierarchy pane
- no kb shortcut for creating child and sibling nodes
- modal operation - have to switch with F12 between
text edit and hierarchy; global navigation keys
would be better
- nodes with no text are invisible in the hierarchy

Big plus for the following though:
- simple, not bloated
- written in Python
- GTK
- small download
- good attempt at mouseless control

I hope I remember to check out future versions and maybe even contribute to the project later. Until then I'll have to use other tools for my needs.

Cheers,

Antti
