Guys/ladies/robots, Just dropping in to say hi! I've been using Gjiten on my Archlinux laptop for a while now, and it really is a great dictionary. I haven't found the partial match tool in any other Japanese dictionary, and it is priceless for a beginner like me as you can just type in whatever you guessed about a word without worrying about the rest. I noticed the last change was back in 2006, any activity after that? Maybe you've all moved on, I guess. Sad thing is, I can't really recommend Gjiten to most people as it is Linux-only, and people I know use Windows or OSX on a daily basis. Any plans (or existing binaries) for OSX or Windows? That being said, I'm willing to try and build a bundle for OSX. I can't make any promises as to when, but I haven't been satisfied by other existing dictionaries on that platform (Tagaini Jisho is the best I could find, and it doesn't even come close to Gjiten), so IMO there's a void to fill ;) Anyway, thanks for making a great application!
