#29 install rproken on Ubuntu 18

install seems to work on Ubuntu 18, but then I get this when I run "gits --version" (or any gits command):

Unescaped left brace in regex is illegal here in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/^(stash\@{ <-- HERE \d+}: )WIP( on .: [\da-f]+)....$/ at /usr/local/bin/gits line 1018.
