Dear Justin,
I did some testing and tidying up.
doc@ltdoc:~/wrk/www/ginp> cvs ci -m "Repaired the config of thumbnail
size and page location. Needs more testing. Fixed the parameter encoding
agian. The problem was that if files have german umlauts in them then
they were encoded in UTF-8 not the encoding of the response. This has
been tidied up and fixed. But if you set your local to be Russia then
you can not see files with gernam chars in them becuase these chars do
not exist in the locale encoding. Thisneeds a force local config setting
and some explanation in the manual and then I think it is acceptable.
The alternative is encoding every page in UTF-16."
I am not sure that the thing is working that well at the moment so I
want to do some more testing and bug fixing so we can release as you
suggested. I also want to update the manual.
I may have some Korean translations in the pipeline. This is all a bit
of a joke but it is a good test of the i18n and encoding stuff.
All the best,
Doug
