The "Create Screenshot" feature behaves differently between the Linux and Mac version of GIMP.
In Linux, when using the option "Select a region to grab" or "single window" with a delay of a few seconds, the delay counts from the moment I click the "Snap" button. After the delay, I get the selection cursor to pick a window or select a region.
In the Mac version, the selection cursor appears immediately after clicking the "Snap" button, and only after that the delay starts counting. This is less useful because the GIMP windows are in the way of what I want to select. The Linux behaviour makes more sense. Can this please be changed?

That's actually a bug. (selection should start after the delay, otherwise it's useless)
In version 2.8.16 the bug is still not fixed.
