#73 2.8.14p1 Bug

I'm finding the same bug that appeared about a year ago with tool outlines not being visible, making them useless. When copying (Edit-Copy) a selected area of an image on Yosemite, followed by a paste (Edit-Paste), Gimp fails to show the previously selected area. I seem to remember a similar issue with 2.8.10, which caused me to keep using 2.8.3, which did not display this bug. Anyone else see this issue? Unfortunately I haven't been able to get 2.8.3 to work on Yosemite.

I am still seeing the same behavior as p1 in p2 regarding copy/paste where the selection box disappears after paste, making it impossible to move the pasted object. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
