can you send me a crash log please? I can't reproduce the crash here on my systems. What did you do exactly?

how do i create a crash log? i just installed gimp and tried to start it... also removed preference folders and tried again - same result.

if you search inside the attached .spx for "NSInvalidArgumentException" you should find the details of the exception thrown.

  … open Console.app and copy&paste the messages about GIMP and the error you see.. And if A application crashes, a window will apear with a lot of text. That’S the crash log.
