#50 Gimp crashing on startup

Mountain Lion 10.8.1

When starting Gimp I get the error:

Cannot spawn a message bus without a machine-id: Unable to load /var/lib/dbus/machine-id or /etc/machine-id: Failed to open file '/var/lib/dbus/machine-id': No such file or directory
gimp-2.8(1045,0x7fff73e89180) malloc: *** error for object 0x7fff5cf34bf8: pointer being freed was not allocated
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

I downloaded the regular gimp 2.8, and it worked fine. [shrug] Just thought you might want to know.
