When I open a file (or few files) by drag and dropping them from Finder into
applicaition icon it sometimes crashes the app, giving this error:
Application Specific Information:
objc[16115]: garbage collection is OFF
*** error for object 0x100810c00: pointer being freed was not allocated
Attached you'll find full error report. The same issue occured in older 2.6
GIMP.
When the GIMP crashes, the XQuartz window is still running and I can work on
previously opened files, however when I try to open new file it creates 2nd
instance of GIMP.
The steps to reproduce are:
1. Open GIMP by dragging a file on application icon, wait until the application
launches and XQuartz icon shows up.
2. Drag a new file on the application icon - it'll open it withing the same
GIMP instance.
3. Repeat step 3 until crash occurs - ususally 10-20 times. I'm working on PNG
files, so I'm not sure if it crashes with other files.
4. Dragging next file on the application icon will create 2nd GIMP instance and
two separate instances are running.
