    "ESC/Page-Colour, PCL5e (B/W), Epson GL/2 (B/W), FX (B/W), ESCP2 (B/W)"

So for color, you have to use "ESC/Page-Colour" ... which doesn't seem to exist according to Epson's technical documentation.

For printing in color, Epson's official drivers use a proprietary protocol that only they know about.

For Gutenprint to support this model, we will need technical documentaiton from Epson on how this "ESC/Page-Colour" protocol works. Otherwise, this documentation will have to be created using reverse engineering, a time-consuming effort requiring direct physical access.

It will be far quicker (and cheaper) to replace the printer with one that uses a standard PDL instead.
