Support request: Epson EcoTank M1100
https://www.epson.eu/en_EU/products/printers/inkjet/consumer/ecotank-m1100/p/23161

The Epson ET M1100 printer driver can be installed:
https://packages.debian.org/bullseye/printer-driver-escpr

However, the escputil application does not support:
https://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/p_Supported_Printers.php

Anyway, it would be nice if you could support it, because the escputil application is capable of cleaning the printer, and even the same things that the Epson Printer Utility graphic application made by Epson for Ubuntu-based systems can do, but the latter is compiled with the LSB compiler, and this not supported on Debian systems.

Currently, the official Epson Printer Utility application (M1100) is installed on Ubuntu 18.04 running in a Qemu container,
http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/search/01/search/?OSC=LX
but we would like to replace this with a command-line escputil application... because it would be an easier and long-term solution!

In fact, the Ubuntu 18.04 used in Qemu -which still supports the LSB compiler- is a fork, i.e. officially accessible BeLin Linux for blind people:
http://belin.hu/
(actually an accessible Ubuntu edition, but hey, more than that)

Actually, I'm asking here, but a couple of us want to help a blind friend of ours who is a beginner in IT, by using the escputil application in the long run, i.e. the Epson Printer Utility application, which is no longer really supported, without the LSB and Qt4 dependencies of Epson printer management in general, but now mostly on the Debian 11 GNU/Linux distribution.

The official Epson Printer Utility (LSB + Qt4 dependencies) application knows what you can see in the picture, and escputil can do the same in the command line.
    https://linux.die.net/man/1/escputil

We talked to Epson customer service, but it seems they let it go, i.e., they probably don't shoot in Qt5 and without LSB, and for example, their application is used with the commonly used GCC++ compiler.

The official Epson Printer Utility (LSB + Qt4 dependencies) application is open source, i.e. any component can be used.

I actually opened a bug ticket in the wrong place here.
I made my request again in the right place:
    https://sourceforge.net/p/gimp-print/feature-requests/745/
