Hello,
First of all thank you very much for providing such a great printer. It is much better than the paid rip software.
I am trying to print an image sized 1 meter x 1 meter at 720 ppi resolution on an Epson SC P8000.
But when I send it to the printer I receive an error.
I use Ubuntu Studio and GIMP.
The file size is 2,24 GB in tiff format.
I guess it cant not handle it because of the file size.
Is there a way to overcome this limit?
Please help.

I suspect you're running low on filesystem space in /var (specifically /var/spool). Can you run df to see how much space you have?

Thank you very much for responding.I am not an experienced Linux user. But I did run the df command. My main file system is on nvme drive partition which has around 20gb free. And my ram is 24 gb.I also modified gimp preferences for memory and made it high. When I open the document it says 3.2 gb on the bottom bar.The file is 28346 x 28356 pixels 2.24 gb.When I click print it shows the progress on the bottom bar.And when it reaches at the end I get that error. You can see the disk info and the errrod of gimp attached.I experience this problem when the file size ise over around 1.2-1.5 gb.For example I couldn't print a 23584 x 23584 pixels 1.55 gb filethen a croped it from sides to 18142 x 23584 pixels 1.19 gb and I could print.

That's probably the GIMP's plugin, not the Gutenprint plugin (which is named "gutenprint"). Please contact the project at gimp.org about this.

You may want to install the "gimp-gutenprint" package and try that. After you install that and restart GIMP, you can try printing using Print with Gutenprint.

While searching an alternative to GIMP for printing, I came across WutenPrint.
    http://wutenprint.blogspot.com/
It is a windows ported version of GutenPrint and runs as a Photoshop plug-in.
It runs with 32bit version of Photoshop.
When you install it you get "WutenPrint" on the file dropdown menu.
While experimenting I realized that the option becames unavailable when one of the dimensions exceeds 30000 pixels.
And this made me think again that the problem may not be on the GIMPs plugin.

Is there a pixel limit which GutenPrint handle?
And can you please recommend an alternative Linux software for printing?

    Thanks,

This isn't a problem with gutenprint.
