Is there a way I can adjust or recompile driver to do this:
I have an Epson 1800, 8 color printer, I only use this printer as a 4 color printer (CMYK), the magenta part of the head has gone bad, I would like to remap one of the other unused channels to print magenta. Also I think this could be useful if all 8 channels were working this method could be used to make this printer dual CMYK, perhaps dye in one set and pigment in other set.
I know this can be done, just wondering the difficulty for someone with medium skills.
