Gee, you're *trusting* the documentation? Be advised that there are (unintentional) errors in the EPSON documentation, both L1 and L2, that you need to watch out for. We always use the guides to compare against the Windows driver output, and stick to the commands used by the Windows drivers. Anyways, it depends on the printer you are using. Older models would lockup if you sent bad data or data that went beyond the margins.
