   Don't know if this is the reason, but positioning from gimp is now very
   good, vertical is close to perfect, horizontally I still get about a mm
   off, but that might be caused by feed, and even if not it is certainly
   tolerable.

That's exactly what I was expecting.  Thanks for checking it out.
