This is a company that sells "Everything and Anything for Linux." Page 44 of their current catalog, which has printers, reads "The GIMP print plug-in, when used with your Epson printer, gives you better image quality. Call us to find out how to get this plug-in." Curious, I called, and the salesperson gave me the plug-in registry. I immediately identified myself, and their marketing director asked me to email her. This could be handy for everyone -- they could sell more high-end printers if there are better drivers; Epson could do likewise; we could expand our user base; and they might be in a better position to put pressure on the printer vendors to be more forthcoming with information.
