I'm working on the .deb's in what spare time I have.  I've never actually
created .debs before except in a few trivial cases (such as pine)
but the scripts needed are essentially already written.  I just need
to figure out what I'm doing and do it.

I'm heading back to Japan in 8 days and I want to make sure that
I can get everything set up properly on my machine at home before I
leave.  That's the time scale I'm looking at.
