You are too quick .... again. I am in the middle of a test run with=20
the test image I just announced to the list. I think I also found the
reason for the white bar in the image I submitted yesterday (the
microweave test case): The printer does great, the dithering
algorithms are getting better by the hour.=20

My last test will be to print the test image with the EPSON driver
and compare it to the six 720dpi/variable dot size prints I've done
using all six dithering methods.

All I can say for now is that they are all considerably better than=20
what I've seen from the GhostScript uniprint driver.

I'm using Gimp 1.1.20, so 1.0.4 could be the source for your problems.
