It annoyed the crap out of me when I first started to use different print queues, but once I figured out what it does it's very useful: The plugin stores the settings with your print queue, so the next time you select the same queue again your old settings will be restored. Automagically. You could have more than one queue connected to a physical printer and whenever you select one of these queues you will get a different set of parameters. This makes it possible to have one queue for line art on normal paper, one for photos on glossy paper, and so on. When I start the plugin the first thing I do is to select the print queue I want the plugin to use. After that all my settings are applied and I don't have to care about this anymore.
