one would think that reverse engineering the raw HPCL data shouldn't be too
difficult ? %-)

There aren't too many possibilities there,
so best one could just test it out :-)

Gonna have a further look at it as soon as I got a replacement color cartridge
for that stupid printer - replacing all cartridges at once 
is more expensive than buying a new printer of the same type btw :-(
