Since I can't seem to get anything through to Robert, I'll post this to
the list:

I've made some progress in getting the gui part separated from print.c,
and a separate popup for the color adjustment sliders.  I've also been
working on renaming everything according to an agreement with Mitch, so
we don't have symbol collisions with his gimp gui.  I hope to have
something to commit by the end of the weekend.
