Unless anyone voices any serious objections, I plan to release 3.1.0
tomorrow (Monday) -- the Presidents' Day Special.  Please have stuff
checked in by then that you'd like to see in this release.

This is, of course, going to be a development release.  It's not
necessary that everything work perfectly, but we do have significant
new functionality (many of the new Epson printers, the Canon stuff,
the proper positioning) that should see the light of day to get more
testing.
