No, don't see any different results when I move towards or away from the left
margin.

I've used a smaller test picture though, and since the resulting output files
got smaller, I've uploaded them as well -  don't know if it will be of any
use for you.

This smaller picture prints OK in microweave mode though, where the
previous picture created an all black output but in the right size.
