It's a real braino type of thing -- when I cleared out the bit vector, I only cleared out the first half (didn't multiply it by the bit depth). While I was at it, I found a couple of other bugs in that code, both of which I fixed. So you should now have a hope of printing and actually getting something halfway rational out in variable dotsize mode. Then we just have to tune it. David, could you try again on your 900?
