OK, I'll hunt down the source for it (I only downloaded the binary
distro).  For now its probably low priority anyway.  I looked at it in
glade, and couldn't figure out what it is supposed to do, as it had some
sort of spline fitted curves.  I thought gamma was the exponent for a
nonlinear remap.
