Ok, I lied.  Autoconf is a little slipperier than I thought.  I'm a
complete novice when it comes to setting it up.  I'll have to put this off
for a few more days, but, I'll keep working on it.  I've got a long train
ride on Tuesday, and twin batteries in my laptop...
