If this is an Intel Chip based Mac the current Mac version will work. If it is a Silicon based Mac, we should have a version out for you in about a week. 

You can determine which Mac you have by simply picking “About this Mac” under the Apple menu. A silicon will state it has an Apple M1 chip, Intel will state it has an Intel chip.
