[Gimp-print-devel] Canon GM4050

Hi team Gutenprint,
I just bought an absolutely great printer, the Canon GM4050. But like often with Canon, the drivers offering is a nightmare. and incompatible with Mac Computers (I didn't even know this even still a thing).
I was thinking about using a small Ubuntu as a CUPS server but sadly I just found out the GM4050 is not part of GutenPrint.
Do you guys think there's a chance of adding it to the list?
