I have reported one of the two issues I am seeing to Apple. It takes several days to get any response from them. So far either I haven’t made clear the issue or the wrong people are viewing my report. I believe I gave them everything they need to reproduce the issue. > > Steve Letter > Sent from my Symbolics Lisp Machine using rmail. Hopefully you will hear back soon. Assuming they acknowledge the bug(s), I doubt the fix probably won't show up until the next point release. My "new/old" mac mini came with 10.15 installed even though it is not supported on the machine. I tried to build the tarball there with Developer Tools 12.3 for "arch x64_86 arch arm64". It threw a fit saying that the platform or operating system was not supported and then crashed. I'm not sure if it was me, the computer, or the software. Without knowing the time frame for Apple to address the bugs, you may want to build 5.3.4 as you did last time and release it. We know that works on Big Sur and the M1 chip. Matt |
