The Mac sector at Gutenprint had not yet been able to post a signed and notarized version that would install on macos 10.15.x. Michael was able to get your last package notarized and is making it available for us to use. > > The last correspondence with you indicated that you had not yet been able to get the package notarized. Have you been able to overcome the hurdles of getting things notarized? I think that Xcode 12 will be needed to deal with Apple's new chipset. That requires macos 15.x or macos 11. Would you be able to those build environments available? I *think* those are the minimum requirements that are now needed for a Mac maintainer. The last question should read --Would you be able to provide that build environment and get the package notarized? > > It is really up to Robert to determine what he needs for a maintainer. Beginning with macos 10.15, Apple added a layer of security where Apple has to "notarize" installers and the software. It is uncertain when we will find a Mac maintainer for the Gutenprint code. >>>>> >>>>> Matt >>> >>> > > _______________________________________________ > Gimp-print-devel mailing list > Gim...@li... <mailto:Gim...@li...> > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gimp-print-devel <https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gimp-print-devel> |
