[Gimp-print-devel] Canon iP3600 CUPS+Gutenprint v5.3.1 Driver Question

I'm currently using the driver for the Canon iP3600. The driver is running
on my Raspberry Pi 4. The printer is attached via usb to the Pi, and I've
shared the printer on the network to print from my Mac.

I'm having some trouble and I think it may be an issue with the driver, but
I'm not sure. Sometimes it will print, and sometimes it will not. When it
does not print, it stalls until I turn off the printer and turn it back on.
If I print again, it usually goes through the second time. Sometimes it
prints double (two copies of the same print job). Every time I print, there
is the yellow exclamation on the printer icon (this appears whether the
print is successful or not).

Any idea as to the cause? I'd appreciate any help I can get. See also
