Hey team! Just wanted to start off by saying I love your work! And that I appreciate the work you've put in to make it all possible for us to use. I am a newbie to the industry, I have been playing with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Shinko/Sinfonia S2145 printer for a PhotoBooth project. A while ago (Late last year) I had it working well, at the time it was running on; -CUPS 2.2.1 -Gutenprint: v5.2.11 -(And Raspian Stretch V9.) I have gone back to it over my summer break and now using the Pi 3B+ running; -CUPS 2.2.10 -Gutenprint: v5.3.1 -(Raspian Buster V10.) Which it isn't working with anymore, I did a little digging, the error said "Invalid backend" which kept turning up as the USB driver, so I figured I would let you guys know (not sure if I am the only one with this currently). I also wanted to ask if you knew of anyway to revert back to v5.3.1 for Gutenprint on the Raspberry Pi using the Debian/linux. I am still pretty early on and I cant turn up a great deal on the web and was really hoping for some guidance if that is at all possible. Thank you again for all work. -Troy Croatto |
