[Gimp-print-devel] Gutenprint v5.3.3 + Canon i9950 Last Page Issue

Hi,

I have a Canon i9950 inkjet printer connected to my linux openSUSE leap 
15.1 box. I have compiled and installed Gutenprint 5.3.3 with a standard 
configuration.

What I am experiencing is that the printer freezes trying to print the 
last page of any document. The last page will print only part (one half 
to one third) of a page before freezing with the paper partway through. 
Even if I cancel the print job the printer will not release nor pressing 
the printer's form feed button advance the paper. It is only when I 
physically disconnect the printer USB cable does the printer eject the 
last page automatically.

I have done a work around of adding a sacrificial cover page to the end 
of the document so that all pages bar it can print but this is not optimal.

Any idea if this is resolvable?
