FWIW I don't know if the blacklist ever worked on OSX.

Single printer (Sony UP-CR10L) but possibly affecting a couple of others 
too (UP-DR150 and UP-DR200).

I'd like to see 5.2 wrapped up too.  

I wonder if it might make more sense, for 5.3, to stop bothering with 
-pre builds, and more rapidly iterate the version number?
