There may also be a problem with the 5.2.15-pre1 release. I hope you can help test to see if you find the same bug. You are definitely on the right track in installing thed 5.2.15-pre1 release. The printer needs to be set up a bit differently than you currently have it. Please Delete the current printer you have where all you saw was USB. Then you want to add the printer again. This time you should be able to add the printer with a connection of 'gutenprint52+usb'. Then select the software as Sony U-DR200 - CUPS+Gutenprintv5.2.15-pre1. Please post back to let us know if that works. If you still can't print, please go to the Console application: /Applications/Utilities/Console. There is a column on the left side of the window. Please use the disclosure triangles on the left to find /var/logs/cups. The click on the error_log option. Copy and paste anything that begins with a capital 'E' and post back. It may appear as: E [31/Mar/2019:12:03:31 -0500] [cups-deviced] PID 1340 (gutenprint52+usb) crashed on signal 6! If that is what you report, downgrading to Gutenprint 5.2.3 should work. In any event, please post back to let us know if you re-add your printer using gutenprint52+usb and get the message of an error ('E'). That would greatly help the maintainer of the dye sublimation code fix the problem. -- Matt wal...@ma... |
