[Gimp-print-devel] LaserBase MF3110 problem

Hello

I've just downloaded and installed Gutenprint on a Mac running OS 10.6.8. I haven't a clue how it works or if it will work in this case.

I have a Canon LaserBase MF3110 printer and having just spoken to Canon support been told that this printer never had a mac driver. Would using Gutenprint enable printing and if so, how would I sett it up?
