The HL-2030 is a so-called GDI driver, meaning it does not utilize a 
standardized printing protocol, relying instead on the manufacturer's 
drivers.

That said, Brother provides a Linux driver for the HL2030 for download 
from their web site.  Integrating it into the Synology firmware will 
require cooperation between Synology and Brother, and consequently is 
not something Gutenprint will be able to do.
