Have you been able to confirm that printing from iOS device will in fact be colour? (Not necessarily on your printer).


I am thinking about the test where you print to a pdf file and take the pdf file to another location and attempt printing by opening the pdf file on another Operating system?  

On your LAN do you only have apple systems or other operating systems connected that can access the printer?

You are correct - the C3210DX is connected to the network via 10/100 LAN. 

The only reason the Synology 1813+ is required is for the "AirPrint" feature (printing from Apple iOS devices) to work....
