It appears that the DocuPrint is a true PostScript printer in its standard configuration.  The only PPD files that Xerox provided for Mac OS X were for PostScript capabilities.  The only problem now is that their installer will not work in OS X 10.8 as the installer is PPC only.

You should be able to use the PPD from <http://www.cups.org/ppd/xerox/en/xrn4025p.ppd.gz> to get full PostScript support with this device.  The Gutenprint drivers will work fine, but only process your jobs using the PCL printer language.
