Hi Alex. Everything you say, I do. Monitors are all custom .icc profiled, as well as the printers with Epson printer drivers. Each media does have it's own custom .icc profile. The real question is when using Gutenprint as the printer driver, and I am going to print the 1728 patch target, what settings to use. With the Epson driver and PS CS3, I know to use no color management. That is not an issue. The question is when profiling for a different print driver, Gutenrprint driver, what to chooe. Let printer manage color, or no color management. I have already been told not to use let photoshop manage colors. And, I would not let photoshop manages colors anyway when printing the 1728 patch target. That is a given. I use i1 Pro with i1 Match for my custom .icc profiling. I have clients I do custom .icc profiling for. Both displays, and printers, with their appropriate drivers. But here, for me, I am attempting to use Gutenprint. For me, not for clients.
