[Gimp-print-devel] Canon IP90 Pixma

Hi
I have a Canon IP90 and can’t download drivers as my IOS does not support the software. The IOS on my mac is Mojave and my husband’s  mac has Yosemite.

Is there a way you can assist as I had went to this link  http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.phpa    and don’t really understand how it all works.

Thanks for contacting us. Latest version of Gutenprint for MacOSX
works for any OSX from 10.6 upwards, so your two version are
supported.

download the latest version 5.2.15-pre1 at present, and install the
DMG as you would any other MacOSX software.
This installs the gutenprint drivers.
Then you need to set up a printer queue in CUPS or whatever printing
system you use, selecting the appropriate gutenprint driver for your
printer during the setup.
The Canon iP90 should be supported as far as I am aware.

Hi Che,

I've just been advised that the latest version is actually 5.2.15 (not
5.2.15pre-1), so you can get that, but you'll need to obtain it
directly from the file download folder here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-print/files/gutenprint-5.2/5.2.15/

Install the DMG file and then use your printing system's interface to
set up a print queue, selecting the gutenprint .5.2.15 driver for the
iP90

Somehow the web site did not get synced -- the current version is
5.2.15.  My apologies.
