I found Gutenprint (Gimp-Print) because my MP450 printer driver is no longer compatible with OSX.
On the face of it, it looks like Gutenprint would be a solution.
However, perusing your user manual it quickly became clear that Gutenprint is designed for IT professionals, not an “educated layperson” such as myself, and requires a high level of computer programing competence just to get started.
Do you have any plans to produce a version of Gutenprint that a moderately competent Mac or Windows user could install and configure and then use to print with?
