Printing to Epson 3000

I've been proofing images on Epson matte paper with the media setting on "Photo Quality Inkjet Paper"
My final prints are printed with the media setting "Premium Glossy Photo Paper" and they are coming out longer.

For instance the proof of an image was 12.125" long, and was the size as specified in PhotoShop. The final glossy print was 12.625", .5 longer or around 4%.  The only other difference is that the proof was printed across the platen in landscape and the glossy print was printed vertically in portrait orientation.  The short dimension (width) of the image was unaffected.
