I bought a photo-printer some time ago and noticed that there is no cups driver for it.
I'm using Fedora 15 and in messages-log I found the following:
### cut begin ###
New USB device found, idVendor=04a9, idProduct=31ee
New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
Product: Canon SELPHY ES40
Manufacturer: Canon Inc.
USB Bidirectional printer dev 3 if 0 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04A9 pid 0x31EE
### cut end ###
Because there are already other Selphy printers available I wanted to ask, if it is possible to also add my 'Canon Selphy ES40'.
If you need more information… Just let me know. :-)
I would be very happy, if you can help me. :-)
The ES40 is supported in CVS gutenprint, which you can compile if you need it now.
Alternatively, the next release (5.2.8) will have the support in it.
